All our chicken is Free-Range and Gluten-Free, ethically sourced from Waitoa. A community of local farmers on land that is nurtured and well respected.
These farms are all located among the rolling green hills of the Waikato. Known for its rich soils and great growing conditions, it’s a perfect place to farm free-range.

HOW TO COOK: Roasting is best (and easiest) for a whole bird, so many flavours you can add. For a super tasty, succulent roast (and delicious gravy) try this - Preheat oven to 180 °C. Use a baking dish with a lid or foil. Place some oil, 1 celery stick (with leaves attached, more flavour), one small carrot, 2-3 bay leaves & any fresh herbs that you love in the bottom baking dish. Stuff the chicken if you like then place on top of herbs and vegetables. Season with salt, pepper, herbs & smoked paprika. Cut one brown onion in half (do not peel) and place either side of the chicken. The onion skin will brown up and add colour to your gravy. Add half cup of water to the dish, cover and roast for 1 hour. Remove the cover and cook for a further 30 minutes.
